I’m becoming a product engineer in robotics. It sounds huge. But who dreams small when building robots?

Why now? Short answer: I joined a robotic company as an intern.

Long answer: We’re in a unique moment where advances in AI, computing, and materials are making robots more capable and accessible than ever.

I can’t help thinking that what we try to achieve through robots is strangely close to what God wanted from us. We want to create. Not just tools, but forms that can act in the world. Forms that observe, learn, and adapt. Forms that reflect intention.

In building robots, we’re not trying to replace ourselves; we’re trying to understand ourselves. What does it mean to perceive? To decide? To care about outcomes?

Maybe robotics isn’t only about efficiency or automation. Maybe it’s a mirror. A way of asking: what kind of creators do we want to be?
